PROFILE
Rich came to Christ at the age of 15 and immediately developed a love for the Bible, Israel, and the Jewish people. At the age of 19, while in the midst of his undergraduate degree, he sensed the Lord’s call into ministry and determined to enter Dallas
Theological Seminary upon graduation to pursue his interest in the Scriptures.
He majored in Bible Exposition, and upon completing his studies at Dallas, joined the Rocky Mountain Bible Mission and became a church planter, pastoring a church in Kemmerer, WY. Throughout his pastoral career, he would go on also to pastor churches
in New York, Texas, and Michigan. During his ministry in Michigan, he led biblical study tours to Israel with his congregation, which developed his love for teaching on-site in Israel and other biblical lands.
Rich then served the State of Israel as the western regional marketing director for the
Israel Ministry of Tourism in Los Angeles, CA; a job which allowed him to promote the importance of Christian travel and biblical study in Israel. He is also loves biblical archaeology, earning a master’s degree in Archaeology and Near Eastern Studies from
the Hebrew University, and has participated in digs in Israel and Jordan.
Throughout his career in the church and in the travel industry, he has led biblical study tours to Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Saudi Arabia as well as a Reformation tour in Switzerland.
He loves travel, is an avid hiker, sailor, and skier, and a father of four and a grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren.
