David has lived in Jerusalem with his wife Carol for 41 years where he is currently the rector of Christ Church, Jerusalem. He has worked as a journalist/researcher, and for 19 years was director of the Shoresh study program dedicated to teaching Christians about the Jewish context of their faith. Fascinated by Eastern European Jewish life that existed before the Second World War, David has led a number of trips to Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic, designed to expose Christians to Jewish life in the modern era. David has been active in working with local Christians throughout the Middle East (the Isaiah 19 movement) to promote regional reconciliation and cooperation. He further takes a keen interest in Kurdish-Jewish relations and genocide prevention education.
