Jerusalem Seminary exists for one reason: to help the Church read Scripture more faithfully by studying it where it was written, in the languages it was written in, among the people who first received it.
This August we’re opening our doors. Not a brochure, not a recorded tour — a live evening where you can meet the people who would teach you, sit in on a real class, and ask whatever you’d like to know.
Both evenings follow the same format. Choose whichever fits your week.
We begin outdoors, overlooking the Old City, with a word on why this place still matters for anyone who reads the Bible seriously.
Who we are, how we teach, and what our programs actually involve — degree tracks, language study, and how students study with us from around the world.
A genuine taste of the classroom, taught by the faculty who teach it:
Admissions, cost, scheduling, prerequisites, what it’s like to study from abroad. Nothing is off the table.
No commitment required. Come, listen, and decide later.
Scripture was written into a landscape, a language, and a culture — and all three are still here. Our students study the biblical languages with those who live in them, learn the geography by walking it, and encounter the Jewish context of the text firsthand.
That’s not a marketing line. It’s the difference between reading about a place and reading from it.
No. The two dates cover the same material — pick whichever works for you.
The value of the evening is in the live interaction, so we’d encourage you to join us in real time.
Absolutely. Many who join are still exploring, and there’s no obligation.
Not at all. Our language programs begin at the beginning, and the breakout sessions assume no prior study.
Yes. We’ll cover exactly how that works during the introduction and Q&A.
Write to us at info@jerusalemseminary.org — we’d be glad to help.
